New Initiative to Enhance Education for Children Amidst Conflict

Every child deserves access to quality education, regardless of their circumstances. Due to conflict, forced displacement, or disruptions in learning, many students have lost the ability to fully grasp important knowledge.

By helping them catch up, educators not only boost their confidence and motivation but also aid in better socialization—restoring connections with peers and ensuring a sense of safety.

In June, diagnostic assessments are conducted in educational institutions owned by the community in Odesa to identify educational losses among students. Additional classes, consultations, and group work are provided to facilitate better material comprehension.

To address educational losses for younger students, a program called «KETCH» has been developed by the NGO «Go Global». This initiative aims to support younger school children who have lost part of their knowledge due to the ongoing conflict, providing schools with effective tools for adaptive and intensive learning.

The project is being implemented with the support of UNICEF in Ukraine, Global Partnership for Education (GPE), and the Animagrad studio (FILM.UA Group).
