Free Access to AI Tools for Ukrainian Students

From October 8, Ukrainian students will have free annual access to Gemini and AI Pro subscriptions from Google.

This was announced by the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov on Telegram.

“Students need modern tools to learn more effectively and develop skills. Starting today, Google provides students aged 18 and older with a free annual subscription to the Google AI Pro toolkit,” the message states.

Ukrainian university students will have access to the following services:

  • Gemini 2.5 Pro – a chat support tool for studying and tackling complex topics, with the ability to upload photos for real-time explanations;
  • Deep Research – a tool that independently analyzes hundreds of sources and creates structured reports, saving hours of preparation for coursework or essays;
  • NotebookLM – a personal assistant for organizing knowledge and notes, now with enhanced audio and video analysis capabilities;
  • Veo 3 – converts text or photos into 8-second videos with sound;
  • Jules – an AI assistant for programming that helps write, test, and improve code;
  • 2 TB of cloud storage – ample space for all notes, documents, and projects.

To participate in the program, students need to register on the website.

We remind you that the Ministry of Digital Transformation has announced a new phase of collaboration with Google focusing on the use of the company's AI technologies to develop government AI products in Ukraine.
