Charity Fair Supporting the Armed Forces at Odesa Gymnasium
On September 30, an annual charity fair was held at Odesa Gymnasium No. 125 located in Slobodka.
#Coffee_with_Education — a warm and sincere event that brought together educators, students, and parents.
This year’s fair was particularly special: the school, which suffered damage from enemy attacks last year, revived and symbolically responded to the aggressor by raising funds for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Every hryvnia goes towards combat medic needs: tourniquets, bandaging materials, and medicines.
The fair featured a true Ukrainian atmosphere with aromatic coffee, homemade treats, children's performances, workshops, and heartfelt hugs.
«This is a very important event. Students, parents, and educators are all working together for a good cause. And all the funds raised are for the support of our military,» said Mayor Hennadiy Trukhanov.
Since 2015, on the eve of Teacher's Day, Odesa’s educational family has been conducting a marathon of good deeds: schools and kindergartens organize performances, workshops, and fairs to raise money for the needs of the military, the wounded, and internally displaced persons. During this time, over 10 million hryvnias have been collected, which went towards drones, electronic warfare equipment, clothing, stoves, boats, cars, and most importantly, saving lives.
