Teacher's Day Celebration in Odesa: 'Warm Hearts' Initiative
In Odesa, in celebration of Teacher's Day, a charity event named «Warm Hearts» took place, bringing together educators, children, and parents for good deeds.
Students, along with their teachers, organized fairs where they sold handmade crafts prepared with care by their families.
There was an exceptionally warm and friendly atmosphere in the schools. The fair raised a total of 2,156,360.42 UAH.
«I would like to thank the educators of Odesa, the children, and every family that participated in the fairs and contests, and of course, Natalia Kartasheva for supporting our defenders», said the Director of the Department of Education and Science, Olena Buinevych.
The funds were collected through «Monobank», and after the event, they were transferred to the account of the Charity Fund «Southern Coast».
«Today we have already received our first crucial orders - tourniquets and bandages. These items are directly related to saving lives», emphasized the fund representative Natalia Kartasheva.

A tourniquet is an essential tool for stopping critical bleeding in the field. It applies pressure to the damaged vessel, effectively halting both venous and arterial bleeding, especially after wound tamponade, preventing excessive blood loss.
