Recovery of Odesa Lyceum After Attack
Due to a massive UAV strike, Odesa Lyceum No. 125, which serves around 500 students, has sustained considerable damage.
A total of 120 windows (700 m²) were shattered in 30 classrooms, 30 doors were damaged, and the heating and electrical systems have been partially affected.
Ceilings in 30 classrooms were also damaged, and 100 desks and 200 chairs were effectively destroyed. Fortunately, there were no casualties.
«Currently, work is underway to restore the heating system. The kindergarten will resume operations on Monday, November 11. Students will study remotely for the week, and starting November 18, they will return to classes in two shifts in the sections of the school that were less affected. The restoration of the most damaged part of the building is expected to be completed by January», stated the head of the city’s Department of Education and Science, Olena Buinevych.
