Health Initiatives in Odessa: New Programs for Residents
In Odessa, health days and open house events have become crucial for local healthcare facilities.
The primary goal of these initiatives is to engage residents in regular health screenings, which aid in early disease detection.
This was stated by Odessa's mayor, Gennady Trukhanov, during his visit to the Primary Health Care Center No. 3.
This clinic serves over 13,000 residents of a densely populated area.
Recently, the facility underwent major renovations, creating comfortable conditions for both patients and medical staff. The entrance and restroom were updated to meet modern accessibility standards.
To ensure uninterrupted operations, the clinic is equipped with a generator and has a 1000-liter water tank.
In addition to standard medical services, Center No. 3 also offers mobile palliative care, mental health support services, and tuberculosis treatment. Substitute therapy for individuals with dependencies is also available.
To access free services under government health programs, residents must sign a declaration with their family doctor.
