Modern Healthcare Center Renovated in Odesa

The first floor of Primary Medical Care Center No. 4 in the Kyiv district of Odesa has been renovated, featuring a lobby and reception area. From day one, modern comfortable conditions have been created for patient service.

Additionally, the building on Levitan Street houses Consultative Diagnostic Center No. 20, which offers a wide range of primary and specialized outpatient care to residents of the Kyiv district and all Odesans.

Odesa's Mayor, Hennadiy Trukhanov, visited the medical facility to check compliance with modern accessibility standards. The reception desk is equipped for the convenience of wheelchair users, Braille signage is installed, and inclusive restrooms are available.

The entrance group of the medical center has also been updated to ensure barrier-free access. In particular, a comfortable ramp has been installed in accordance with construction regulations and recommendations from organizations concerned with disability issues.

This year, a modern outpatient rehabilitation department has been opened and equipped at Primary Medical Care Center No. 4. A multidisciplinary team of specialists, including physical and rehabilitation medicine doctors, physical therapists, occupational therapists, and other professionals, work here.

Since the department's opening, 120 patients have undergone outpatient rehabilitation. Services are provided free of charge under the state medical guarantee program.

The mayor of Odesa, Hennadiy Trukhanov, spoke with defenders of Ukraine currently receiving treatment at the center. Veterans praised the high level of rehabilitation services and the professionalism of the medical staff.

Primary Medical Care Center No. 4 also hosts a Mental Health Center and an Integrated Support Center. The multidisciplinary team provides comprehensive psychosocial and psychological support, legal consultations, and social worker services. Since its inception, around 20,000 people have sought help here, receiving nearly 55,000 psychosocial services.

«Today, we are creating modern conditions in the city's medical institutions that are pleasant for patients to stay in and for medical staff to work. It is especially important that during all renovation works, priority is given to accessibility issues. Ensuring the availability of urban infrastructure for every citizen is our key strategy,» emphasized Odesa's Mayor Hennadiy Trukhanov.
