Modern Pediatric Hospital in Odesa: New Opportunities for Care
The City Children's Clinical Hospital No. 3 in Odesa has launched a state-of-the-art department for emergency, urgent, and trauma care, marking a significant advancement for the Peresyp district.
Comfortable conditions have been established for patients and medical staff, and modern medical equipment has been acquired. All beds are equipped with oxygen points, ensuring high treatment standards. Special attention has been given to accessibility for people with disabilities.
Since the start of 2024, surgical procedures have been underway, with approximately 150 interventions performed, over 100 of which are ENT surgeries.
Currently, the emergency, urgent, and trauma care department, surgical department, and endoscopy suite are fully operational, performing around 1000 surgical interventions, over 800 trauma procedures, and about 70 endoscopic examinations.
In total, 2735 young patients have been hospitalized in the updated departments: 1375 children in the surgical department and 1360 in the trauma department. The high quality of medical care is evidenced by the absence of complications following surgical procedures.
A modern reception and diagnostic department has also been established within the hospital, featuring isolated box rooms to ensure a high level of infection control.
Now, young residents of Odesa have access to a state-of-the-art pediatric clinic, where qualified medical professionals provide quality medical care under the state medical guarantee program.
