Current Illness Trends in Odesa: Latest Insights
According to the Odesa Regional Center for Disease Control and Prevention, the rates of ARVI and influenza in Odesa are at seasonal levels, remaining 31% below the epidemic threshold.
Last week, 2564 residents of Odesa were diagnosed with ARVI and influenza, with 70.2% of cases being children under 17 years old.
COVID-19 cases in Odesa decreased by 2.1 times over the last week, with nine laboratory-confirmed cases, all among children. Vaccination points for COVID-19 continue to operate in city health clinics.
Additionally, 42 residents were reported to have acute gastrointestinal infections last week, of which 61.9% were children.
Isolated cases of viral hepatitis and respiratory infections were noted. No cases of diphtheria, measles, rubella, or tetanus were registered during the week.
The epidemiological situation in Odesa remains stable and under control.
