Cystoscopy in Odesa: The Importance of Early Detection
Last year, over 2500 cystoscopic examinations were performed in medical facilities in Odesa. This procedure allows for the examination of the mucous membranes of the urethra, bladder, and ureters, aiding in the early detection of cancerous conditions.
It is recommended that individuals over 50 undergo cystoscopy as a preventive measure, even in the absence of symptoms. If a patient is younger than 50 but a physician deems the procedure necessary, a referral should be obtained to schedule an appointment at a facility offering cystoscopy services.
