May 27 is the Day of the Special Operations Forces of Ukraine.
Greetings on the occasion of the holiday
Greetings to the SOF soldiers were sent by Commander Oleksandr Trepak, Minister of Defense Rustem Umerov, and Chief Commander of the Armed Forces Oleksandr Syrskyi.
Rustem Umerov emphasized that the Special Operations Forces undertake the most challenging missions, many of which remain unknown to the public but are crucial for the country's security.
“They operate where precision and determination are required,” - noted the minister.
Umerov also praised the bravery of the SOF soldiers, who serve as an example for all Ukrainians.
Commander Trepak on the holiday
Major General Oleksandr Trepak congratulated his personnel on the holiday, highlighting the importance of their work in times of war.
He recalled that May 27 became a symbol of courage when Ukrainian soldiers defended Donetsk Airport, proving that Ukraine does not give up.
Trepak emphasized that the SOF soldiers continue the traditions of their ancestors by protecting the country from aggressors.
Greetings from the Chief Commander of the Armed Forces
Oleksandr Syrskyi noted that the SOF soldiers accomplish the impossible by striking the enemy's rear.
He also thanked them for their service and highlighted their contribution to the fight for Ukraine's independence.
