Failed Grenade Experiment in Odessa
In the Peresyp district of Odessa, a shocking incident occurred when a man decided to conduct a dangerous experiment with a hand grenade in his friends' apartment. The explosion resulted in injuries of varying degrees to all present.
This event took place on April 11 in a high-rise building, where a powerful blast was heard.
According to the National Police, an acquaintance of the couple living in the apartment brought a grenade with him. For unknown reasons, the man decided to pull the pin, leading to the explosion. Consequently, the apartment's windows shattered.
Fortunately, no one was killed; however, all three individuals sustained injuries. The perpetrator injured his leg and was taken to the hospital. The couple was also hospitalized but suffered minor injuries.
Police are interviewing witnesses and collecting evidence to investigate the circumstances of the incident.
Preliminary findings suggest that improper handling of explosive materials was the cause of the incident.
