Changes in Visa-Free Regime for Ukrainians in Georgia
The Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Kobakhidze, has made amendments to the government decree regarding visa-free entry for Ukrainians.

Details: On April 3, it was announced that the duration of visa-free stay for Ukrainian citizens in Georgia has been reduced from three years to one.
According to the new regulations, Ukrainian citizens can enter Georgia without a visa and stay in the country for one full year.
Ukrainians who entered Georgia before February 24, 2025, will have their stay extended until February 24, 2026.
Background: In February 2023, the Georgian authorities allowed Ukrainians to stay in the country without a visa for two years, which was extended to three years in April 2024.
