Revitalizing Green Spaces in Odessa
The staff of the Municipal Enterprise «Miskzelentrest» has begun the installation of new hanging floral bowls on lighting poles.
Typically, these floral arrangements adorn locations such as the Theater Square, Exchange Square, Deribasivska Street, Balkivska Street, Tiraspolska Street, Lesya Ukrainka Avenue, and sections of Lustdorf Road.
This year, a total of 52 new floral bowls are set to be installed across various districts of Odessa. For this purpose, seedlings of flowers like geraniums, pelargoniums, tradescantia, and asparagus have been cultivated in the enterprise's greenhouses.
Additionally, the team is currently replacing spring flowers with summer blooms. All plants for flower beds are prepared in the «Troyanda» greenhouse.
This summer, Odessa will be adorned with 350,000 summer flowers, including petunias, begonias, pelargoniums, portulacas, and cinerarias.
