Beach Renovation in Odesa for the Summer Season
Summer is approaching in Odesa, and many entrepreneurs are stepping up to prepare the beaches for the upcoming season.
The tenant of 1,250 sq. m of the southern part of 'Arcadia' beach (south of the Rotunda) has developed a detailed project for the renovation of the waterfront and beach area, and has approached the local authorities of the Odesa City Council for approval.
The northern part of 'Arcadia' beach is managed by the municipal enterprise 'Odesa Coast'.
The waterfront improvements according to the project include:
- creation of a pedestrian zone;
- installation of a lift for people with disabilities;
- addition of bins, benches, and lighting;
- landscaping with decorative planters.
The beach facilities will include:
- installation of a canopy along the retaining wall of the summer terrace on the rented area;
- renovation of the entrance and stairs leading to the beach;
- restoration of the retaining wall surface;
- construction of a canopy for people with limited mobility on the public beach area;
- installation of shower complexes, changing rooms, sun loungers, and a lifeguard tower.
These project solutions have been coordinated with the relevant departments of the Odesa City Council.
Renovation of the waterfront and beach will be conducted in accordance with the regulations and rules governing urban facilities in Odesa.
All costs will be fully covered by the tenant without the use of public funds.
