Maintenance of Public Transport Stops in Odesa
The Municipal Enterprise «City Roads» serves 1012 public transport stops in the city.
Experts from the enterprise regularly carry out cleaning of the surrounding area, repair trash bins, benches, and shelters, as well as wash and paint them.
Since the beginning of the year, specialists have replaced nearly 163 sq.m of glass walls at the stops. The roofs of 17 stops have been repaired, and benches at 37. A total of 91 trash bins have been repaired, and 99 stops and 512 bins have been painted.
Unfortunately, the problem of vandalism remains relevant. Each day, unknown individuals leave graffiti, break benches, uproot bins along with concrete, and smash the glass walls of the stops.
The Odesa City Council once again urges residents and visitors to treat municipal property with care, as intentional destruction and damage carry criminal liability.

Article 194. Intentional Destruction or Damage to Property
1. Intentional destruction or damage to someone else's property causing significant harm is punishable by a fine of up to fifty (850 UAH) non-taxable minimum incomes of citizens, or community service for a period of one hundred twenty to two hundred forty hours, or corrective labor for up to two years, or restriction of liberty for up to three years, or imprisonment for the same term.
Article 296. Hooliganism
1. Hooliganism, namely gross violation of public order motivated by blatant disrespect for society, accompanied by special audacity or exceptional cynicism, is punishable by a fine from five hundred (8500 UAH) to one thousand (17000 UAH) non-taxable minimum incomes of citizens, or arrest for up to six months, or restriction of liberty for up to five years.
2. The same actions committed by a group of individuals are punishable by restriction of liberty for up to five years or imprisonment for up to four years.
