Greening Odessa: New Trees Planted
The Municipal Enterprise «Miskzelentrest» is actively working on greening Odessa. In April, specialists planted 327 young deciduous trees.
All the trees are 8-10 years old and have been cultivated at the enterprise for planting in urban areas. The species planted include white acacia, sycamore maple, common ash, Japanese sophora, eastern plane tree, catalpa bignoniodes, and heart-leaved lime. They are planted with a closed root system to ensure better survival rates.
Since the beginning of the year, around 1500 young trees and over 7200 shrubs have been planted across Odessa as part of various campaigns, volunteer days, and greening initiatives.
The greening of Odessa continues!
