Consequences of the Attack in Odesa: Support for Victims
On the night of November 7, 2024, due to a hostile strike in the Khadzhibey district of Odesa, three residential buildings, fourteen cars, and a gas pipeline were damaged.
As of 2 PM, damages have been recorded in 110 apartments. Utility workers are addressing the aftermath of the attack by temporarily covering window openings with plastic. The plastic and other materials have been provided by the NGO "Tenth of April" with the support of the UNHCR and the charity fund "Winds of Change".
For residents of the damaged houses and utility workers on-site, the charity fund "Morning of Revival" has organized hot meals and beverages.
Medical professionals and psychologists from Primary Health Care Center No. 16 are providing psychological support to those affected by the attack.
Additionally, a city operational headquarters is functioning on-site. Residents can contact the headquarters for assistance in restoring windows and doors and receive advice regarding the state program eRecovery.
Applications for assistance under the eRecovery program and financial aid from the city budget for restoring windows and doors can be submitted at the Khadzhibey District Administration.
