Restoration of Residential Building in Odesa After Missile Strike

At 24 Serednya Street, Corp. 4 in Odesa, restoration has commenced on a multi-apartment residential building that suffered significant damage due to a mass missile attack.

The building sustained major damage to its external walls, partitions, and structural elements. To prevent the building from collapsing, urgent stabilization work was carried out, halting further deterioration of the structure.

«The building on Serednya is undoubtedly one of the most challenging projects. Thanks to our unity and timely funding, we managed to avert an even greater tragedy,» said Odesa Mayor Hennadiy Trukhanov.

Currently, following all necessary procedures and the results of the tender, LLC «Stikon» has started restoration work.

«After completing the initial restoration and liquidation works, a project was commissioned from the Odesa State Academy of Construction and Architecture. The project has been examined, and restoration work has begun,» noted Artem Zakharov, Deputy Director of the Odesa City Council's Department of Municipal Economy.

Specialists are now focused on restoring the building's external structures, internal walls, and partitions. Preparatory work for reinforcing the building and erecting new structures has begun.

The work is expected to be completed by the end of June 2025.

A total of 42 million UAH has been allocated from the city budget for the restoration of the damaged building, of which 7 million UAH is designated for addressing the aftermath of the attack, and 35 million UAH for restoration efforts.
