Preserving Urban Spaces: The Importance of Responsibility

The Municipal Enterprise «Service Center» manages numerous urban development sites across Odessa.

This includes 45 monuments that are not classified as cultural heritage, along with 4 urban elements at the city's entrances.

Additionally, the enterprise oversees 27 fountains and 16 drinking water complexes.

Every day, municipal workers inspect their assigned sites to identify acts of vandalism and respond swiftly to rectify any damage.

In the first nine months of this year, there have been around thirty incidents of vandalism, mainly involving graffiti, damaged paving, and fountain components.

Specialists promptly address the aftermath of vandalism, restoring damaged items and covering up offensive markings.

The Odessa City Council urges residents and visitors to treat city property with care. If you witness vandalism, please report it by calling: 102 (police).

Deliberate destruction of municipal property carries criminal liability.
