Youth Pianists Competition: New Horizons
On February 28, 2025, a ceremony and concert for the winners of the III International Piano Music Competition titled "The Universe of J.S. Bach" was held in the Golden Hall of the Odesa Literary Museum. Talented young musicians from Odesa, Kyiv, Dnipro, Myrgorod, Ivano-Frankivsk, and China participated in the competition.
The main goal of this event is to support gifted students from specialized artistic educational institutions, preserve national traditions of the piano school, promote the polyphonic works of Ukrainian composers, and enhance the polyphonic skills of young pianists.
"This unique competition, held for the third consecutive year, creates an opportunity to unite young musicians through the music of the great composer Johann Bach. Events like this strengthen cultural ties between Odesa and Europe," said Ivan Liptuga, Director of the Department of International Cooperation, Culture, and Marketing of the Odesa City Council.
The laureates showcased impressive mastery in performing works by J.S. Bach. Winners received diplomas and awards.
The competition was established by the Department of International Cooperation, Culture, and Marketing of the Odesa City Council. The organizer was the Odesa School of Arts No. 3.
