A Delicious Initiative to Support Heroes
A new initiative called "Delicious Support" has launched in educational institutions across Odesa.
This project, initiated a year ago by the Department of Education, has garnered widespread support from Odesa residents and has become an integral part of our city life.
At school fairs, you can purchase tasty treats made with love by our children, parents, and teachers, for a small donation.
Every cup of coffee purchased is not just a flavorful drink, but also a contribution to our shared victory.
"This initiative has once again united us around an important goal – to support those who defend our homeland. All funds raised will go to the needs of the Armed Forces, so our soldiers feel our love and gratitude," said Odesa Mayor Hennadiy Trukhanov.
The Director of the Department of Education and Science, Olena Buiyevych, expressed her gratitude to all participants, noting that in just a few days, "Delicious Support" raised nearly 1.7 million hryvnias.
Additionally, treats and gifts were delivered to veterans undergoing rehabilitation.

In Odesa, rehabilitation departments operate in most hospitals, but inpatient care is only a part of the long process of reintegrating veterans into civilian life. The next steps include adaptive sports, professional retraining, or starting a business, allowing individuals with disabilities to provide for themselves and their families.
