Solar Power Initiatives in Odessa Hospitals
Solar Power Initiatives in Odessa Hospitals
The multi-profile hospitals in Ovidiopol and Bilyaivka have begun the installation of solar panel systems. This is a significant step towards energy independence and uninterrupted operation of medical institutions, even during complete power outages.
The Ovidiopol hospital will feature a 70 kW power station.
The Bilyaivka hospital will become one of the most powerful in the region with a 500 kW installation.
This project is being implemented under a memorandum between the hospitals and the Lithuanian company UAB Solet, supported by the Government of Lithuania, which has allocated funds for the equipment.
The equipment has arrived, and installation work is ongoing. Soon, both medical facilities will be able to operate partially independently of the main power grid.
We thank our international partners for their tangible actions that strengthen Ukrainian healthcare and ensure its resilience amid war conditions.
