Success of the New Cardiology Department in Odesa
Nearly a thousand patients have already received treatment in the new cardiology and cardiac surgery department, which opened this year at City Clinical Hospital No. 11 in Odesa. Here, over 600 cardiology patients and 370 cardiac surgery patients have received medical assistance.
During this time, doctors have performed nearly 900 surgical procedures, including 174 surgeries on patients with acute myocardial infarction, involving stenting or balloon angioplasty.
Additionally, vascular surgeries, thromboextractions for pulmonary embolism, and other types of surgical interventions are conducted here.
Under the state program of medical guarantees, the department has performed 293 planned coronary angiographies, with another 100 angiographies conducted for Odesa residents under the City Target Program "Health".
Patients receive medical assistance free of charge and particularly highlight the comfortable conditions of the department.
