Advancements in Rehabilitation Services in Odessa
Healthcare representatives from Odessa participated in a regional forum titled «Innovations in Rehabilitation Medicine», organized by the National Health Service of Ukraine for leaders of medical institutions in Odessa, Mykolaiv, and Kherson regions.
The forum served as a platform to discuss the results of monitoring compliance with contract conditions for the «Rehabilitation Assistance for Adults and Children in Inpatient Settings» package.
Participants examined monitoring outcomes and explored solutions to key issues aimed at improving the quality of inpatient rehabilitation services.
New electronic tools related to the rehabilitation process were also introduced at the event to streamline electronic document management.
Within the framework of the state medical guarantees program, inpatient rehabilitation services for adults in Odessa are provided by municipal hospitals No. 1, No. 8, No. 10, and No. 11. The Children’s Municipal Clinical Hospital No. 3 is responsible for pediatric rehabilitation. These facilities have been equipped with modern equipment funded by the city budget, allowing for a wide range of rehabilitation procedures.
Additionally, renovation works are underway to expand the capabilities of the rehabilitation center at Municipal Clinical Hospital No. 1 and to create a powerful rehabilitation center based at Municipal Hospital No. 5.
