Youth Health Awareness Event
Last week, the team from the «Youth-Friendly Clinic» of the Primary Health Care Center No. 2, in collaboration with the Kyiv District Organization of the Red Cross Society of Ukraine, conducted an event titled «Know to Live!» for students of Odesa Lyceum No. 9.
Participants of the training received valuable insights into transmission methods, diagnostic techniques, and prevention strategies for HIV, viral hepatitis, and sexually transmitted diseases. They also discussed the risks associated with drug use. Students created and presented posters showcasing their vision of a healthy lifestyle.
Ludmila Kucherenko, head of the clinic, shared information about its services and addressed questions from the adolescents regarding available support.
The «Youth-Friendly Clinic» at PHC Center No. 2 offers comprehensive medical and psychosocial assistance, addressing health issues specific to adolescence while ensuring a friendly approach and comfortable environment for every client. Testing for HIV and hepatitis is also available free of charge and anonymously.
