Vaccination Against Diphtheria and Tetanus at the Bakery

This past week, medical staff from Primary Health Care Center No. 16 organized a mobile vaccination event against diphtheria and tetanus for the employees of Odessa Bakery No. 4.

A total of 75 employees received vaccines.

The Odessa City Health Department continues its active program for additional vaccinations to ensure epidemic safety, initiated by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.

Currently, approximately 84% of children due for immunization have been vaccinated. Diphtheria and tetanus vaccinations are also essential for adults, who need to get revaccinated every 10 years.

During wartime, the vaccination coverage of the population is a matter of national security and public health.

The City Health Department reminds about the possibility of organizing free mobile vaccinations for organized groups.

Qualified medical professionals carry out the vaccinations, and the vaccines meet all quality standards.

Interested groups wishing to arrange vaccinations can fill out the registration form or contact the Health Department at dep.oz@omr.gov.ua or by phone: (048) 753 14 36, (048) 753 15 75.
