New Appointment in Ukraine's NATO Mission
President Volodymyr Zelensky has officially appointed Alona Hetmanchuk to lead Ukraine's mission to NATO, succeeding Nataliya Halibarenko.

On June 13, Zelensky dismissed Halibarenko from her position. That same day, Hetmanchuk was appointed to take over.
Alona Hetmanchuk is an expert in American studies, director of the "New Europe" Center, a senior fellow at the Atlantic Council of the USA, and a regular contributor to "European Truth".
