City Sanitation Efforts: How Public Services Maintain Cleanliness
Every week, the employees of Odesa's public enterprises organize cleanliness days, during which they carry out activities to clean up neglected areas.
Last week, in Bezimenniy Lane, at the corner with Mechnikova Street, the «Fontanskij» utility company, together with the «City Roads» company, held a community cleanup event, removing an illegal dump and transporting about 15 m³ of waste.
The «Chornomorskiy» utility removed large waste and fallen leaves from the following addresses: Prince Yaroslav the Wise Avenue, 34, 36; Heavenly Hundred Avenue, 77, 79a.
The «Vuzivskiy» company carried out a sanitation day, cleaning green zones and areas near garbage containers. The work took place at: Ak. Koroleva St., 19; Varnenska St., and others.
The «Porto-Frankivsk» utility was also actively involved, cleaning areas around closed buildings and organizing other public spaces.
The «Khmelnytskyi» utility completed work on streets not managed by the enterprise, cleaning territories at: Myasoyedovska St., Vysokyi Lane, and others.
