Winter Equipment Upgrades in Odessa
In the city of Odessa, the modernization of winter equipment for municipal services is underway. This year, the municipal enterprise "City Roads" has enhanced its fleet with new PRONAR SPT40 spreaders.
This modern equipment is designed for winter treatment of the road network, specifically for distributing reagents on the streets. They are compatible with trucks that have a payload capacity exceeding 10 tons.
The PRONAR SPT40 spreaders are equipped with a system that allows for capacity adjustments, while monitoring and controlling work parameters can be done directly from the driver's cabin via a display.
The equipment is powered by a two-cylinder air-cooled diesel engine, and it starts from a control panel. All components of the spreading system are made of stainless steel, ensuring a long service life.
Compared to older models, the new spreaders allow for adjustment of spreading density, changing spreading programs, and have a wider spreading area thanks to the stainless steel disc.
In total, the enterprise has 61 units of winter maintenance equipment, including the new models.
Many of the pieces of equipment used for winter street maintenance have been in service for over 10 years, although the recommended service life is 5 years.
Experts from the municipal enterprise independently maintain the technical condition of the equipment, and currently, there are ongoing adjustments to prepare the equipment for the winter season.
