International Youth Project: From Dreams to Action
Students from Odesa Lyceum No. 90, guided by German language teacher Karina Beigelzimer, took part in an international project organized by the Institute for Virtual and Real Adult Learning in Ulm (ILEU e.V.). The project, titled «Actionbound – Strategies for Sustainable Development in My City», brought together youth from Ukraine, Germany, and Bulgaria.
Throughout the winter, participants explored the 17 Sustainable Development Goals by examining local initiatives in Odesa, Ulm, and Sofia. They analyzed the impact of global goals on local levels and brainstormed ideas for positive changes in their communities.
The most active participants had the chance to meet in person in Ulm, where they experienced a week of unforgettable impressions, inspiration, and new friendships.
Living with local families, meetings with municipal leaders, strolling through historic streets, media workshops, discussions on the future of Europe, and presenting their research became integral parts of their journey.
This trip symbolizes trust, support, dialogue, and new horizons, reflecting the shared European future from Odesa to Ulm.
