Health Status in Odesa: Overview of Illness Rates
According to the Odesa Regional Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, the incidence of ARVI and flu in Odesa is at a seasonal level and 16.6% below the epidemic threshold.
Last week, 3023 residents of Odesa were diagnosed with ARVI and flu, with 71.4% being children under 17 years old.
In the past week, 20 laboratory-confirmed cases of COVID-19 were registered in Odesa, including 15 children. Free COVID-19 vaccination points continue to operate in Primary Health Care Centers.
Last week, 49 residents were affected by acute intestinal infections, with 53.1% being children.
Cases of viral hepatitis and airborne infections were recorded sporadically. No cases of diphtheria, measles, rubella, or tetanus were reported during the week.
The epidemiological situation in Odesa remains stable and under control.
