New Role of the Family Health Center
In the first nine months of 2024, the Family Health Center received 18,305 patients.
During this time, over 5,000 mammographic examinations were conducted, leading to the early detection of 145 cases of breast cancer and several other conditions.
The Family Health Center has been operating for four years within the structure of the consultative-diagnostic center No. 6 at Zoo Park St., 8.
This is the first outpatient institution in Ukraine dedicated to comprehensive prevention and early diagnosis of breast diseases in women, men, and adolescents.
The Family Health Center is equipped with a modern Italian mammograph obtained through the social project «Public Budget». It offers consultations from a mammologist, gynecologist, and other specialists, and features an ultrasound room and an operating room. The center's laboratory provides a wide range of hormonal and immunological tests.

Women over 40 are advised to undergo screening mammography annually, even in the absence of complaints. Timely diagnosis allows for the detection of precancerous conditions and tumors at early stages, which can be successfully treated.
