Significant Humanitarian Aid Delivered to Odessa Regional Clinical Hospital

With the support of the Odessa Regional Military Administration, the KNP “Odessa Regional Clinical Hospital” has received crucial humanitarian aid from American philanthropist and former senator John Kahleman through the charity organization «International Horizons Development and Aid Fund», led by Alireza Pahlavanzade.

This initiative has provided the medical facility with essential medical supplies and rehabilitation equipment, which will greatly assist numerous patients. The aid will enhance the conditions for sick individuals and improve the effectiveness of their rehabilitation.

According to doctors, this humanitarian assistance will ease the lives of hospital patients, especially those at the rehabilitation stage or with limited mobility.

Overall, the donations to the facility include:

  • wheelchairs to help individuals with disabilities move around;
  • standard and elbow crutches to support patients during movement;
  • walkers that allow recovering patients to move safely and comfortably;
  • medical clothing for doctors and nurses necessary for maintaining sterility and safety;
  • adult diapers, particularly important for patients with limited mobility;
  • gloves used to ensure hygiene during medical services.

These items are crucial for patient treatment and rehabilitation, providing comfort for medical staff and ensuring a proper level of healthcare services.

Additionally, the humanitarian aid from “International Horizons Development and Aid Fund” will not only improve treatment conditions and the quality of patient care but will also allow the hospital to enhance its material and technical base. Collaboration between medical institutions and charitable organizations is urgently needed in the current landscape, where the healthcare sector faces numerous challenges, including resource shortages.

We extend our sincere gratitude to the donors for their support. We look forward to continued cooperation to support the medical facilities in the Odessa region.
