Miraculous Rescue: The Story of a Man from Odessa
Recently, emergency medical personnel in Odessa managed to save the life of a 54-year-old man who had experienced clinical death.
This information was reported by the Emergency Medical Assistance Center.
The medical team arrived at the location in under 10 minutes. It turned out that the man was suffering from massive bleeding in the oral cavity due to intravenous medication, leading to clinical death.
Before the team arrived, his relative, an anesthetist nurse, provided initial assistance by securing venous access and ensuring airway patency.
Upon their arrival, the team, consisting of doctor Vyacheslav Yuriyovych Dobrovichny, paramedic Kostyantyn Valeriyovych Baida, and medical technician Oleksandr Dmytrovych Podolyak, immediately began resuscitation efforts. They performed chest compressions, intubated the trachea, and initiated artificial ventilation, as well as administering adrenaline and crystalloid infusion.
By the 24th minute of resuscitation, spontaneous circulation was restored, and the patient was transported to the 11th city hospital.
The team didn't just arrive on time; they did everything possible and more to give the man a chance, the doctors remarked.
