Infrastructure Updates: Report from KP 'Fontansky' for 2024
The municipal enterprise «Fontansky» reports successful improvements made to residential buildings in 2024.
A total of 1245 requests from residents were processed.
In response to residents' needs, specialists carried out the following works: roof repairs covering 14820 sq.m., updates to water supply networks of 3540 linear meters, modernization of sewage systems over 2275 linear meters, and repairs and replacements of drainage pipes amounting to 1810 linear meters. Electrical installation works were completed in 231 buildings, with wiring replaced over 5865 linear meters.
In preparation for the winter season, current repairs on central heating systems were conducted in 156 residential buildings, spanning 1115 linear meters, and 89 cast iron valves were replaced.
Employees of the enterprise actively participated in addressing the aftermath of enemy attacks, conducting inspections and documenting damage. Damaged windows were covered with film, and specialized equipment was utilized for cleaning the areas. For instance, at the address Shevchenko Avenue, 8b, the roof was completely reconstructed covering 850 sq.m.
Additionally, a series of general construction works were performed: installing doors in basements, filling in sinkholes, repairing canopies over entrances, reinforcing gates of buildings, painting entrance doors, and more.
Every day, the janitors maintain order in the adjacent territories. Cleaning tasks are performed twice daily (sweeping yards, emptying bins, cleaning up litter, washing garbage containers, etc.).
Municipal workers also engage in grass cutting, tree trimming, leaf removal, and taking care of flowerbeds and lawns around the buildings they service. They participate in city-wide clean-up events as needed.
During preparations for the winter season, an additional 97 tons of sand-salt mixture were purchased, along with 60 units of snow removal equipment.
